History

The Graduate Council held its first meeting on January 18, 1968. It was formed as a result of the reconstitution of the College from the Schools of Humanities, Social Sciences and Natural Sciences. The objective of the council was to determine the course of graduate study at the University across all disciplines. These files reflect the requirements of the granting of graduate degrees, proposals for new degree programs, recommendations in fellowships and preparing the content of the Bulletin.
